KILLING AGE – Modern Thrash Metal Riffs paired with driving stoner grooves and a massive whiskey soaked voice. Main influenced by 90’s Thrash Metal veterans Pantera, Machine Head and Sludge Metal bands like Down and Crowbar.
The band was founded at the end of 2008 by Gregor (Drums), Six (Bass) and Okay (Guitar). One eventful night in January 2009, they met Jan (Vocals) in their regular pub. Since their interpersonal dealings cleared up after some beer, and his audition was all right, Jan joined the band. The next months were spent with rehearsals and songwriting. Their first concert took place in September 2009, followed by several more shows that year. At the beginning of 2010, the band went to the studio to record the demo "Stop talking, start ...", which was released in June 2010. After that, they played ten concerts and started working on the debut album "Good Times", which they published in September 2011. In March 2012 the guys played eleven concerts on the “Sicktour” in Czech Republic, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany. In June 2012, the Northern Metal Mayhem tour (Hamburg, Lübeck, Kiel, Neumünster) started and few weeks later, the album "Good Times" was released again via Gegentrend Records. In August 2014, the guitarist was replaced by Marcin Kicyk. After one year, he was replaced by Max Heimerdinger on the guitar. In 2016, Alexander Wolf joined the band as a new drummer.
After playing more than 150 shows all over Europe, KILLING AGE are without doubt one of the hottest newcomers in the German metal scene. In 2017, they are ready to hit the stages with their long-awaited new album "The Devil´s Child".
